manifold

   can any1 tell me if vtr mk1 and mk2 manifolds are the same,im looking at a 2nd hand 4-2-1 and was just wondering

   they do fit but depending on what mani it is might need some adjustment. is it the mk1 or mk2 you have?

   Fairly sure the port spacing on them is the same - but due to the mk2 have a remote oil filter thing, and the mk1 having it directly on the block - the pipes on the manifolds are routed differently.
   
   I'm sure some of the aftermarket manifolds are made to suit both mk1 and mk2 - i know the BTB i have for sale is advertised by GMC as for Mk2 but fitted my Mk1 fine as well.

   they will all fit a mk1 without issues
   
   i know supersprint will fit mk1 and mk2 without any issues
   
   others like raceland etc need oil filter modifying to fit to a mk2

   mines mk1 but i think w reg is mk 2 if im correct

   not sure ive heard of that make before but it will fit but you may need to use a mk1 oil filter iirc
