Best brakes for 14" wheels

   Unsure whether the 266mm brakes fit under 14" wheels of the saxo, can someone point me in the direction of some brembos or something that will fit.

   bit too much me thinks, brembos, gti calipers etc would be better lol

   266mm Are a good set up which are affordable, and you will notice a good differnce from standard saxo brakes, You can pick up a pair from £60.00-£90.00 With discs and pads, Look around local scrap yards, or ebay or on here, With brembos you will have to have spacers im sure, and also you wont require brembos for day to day driving in a saxo 1.1, and 106 gti brakes or vtr/vts wont be that much difference and time you payed for them, you might as well bought 266mm brake set up, i also recommend braided front brake hoses, Pm Swampy for braided brake hoses.

    i was looking at those to go under 14s but you can buy wheels/tyres and wilwoods say for cheaper, just something to think about

    306 xsi, xantia, citroen berlingo van all have 266mm disks as standard and will fit a saxo. Theres probably others as well

    you can get 266mm high specs (see sophia bushs ax thread)
    
    they look like a good bit of kit and should fit behind 14s

    just get 266mm off 206gti berlingo etc
    
    Stick some mintex m1114 pads and decent discs on.
    
    No joy spending money on brembos then trying to get them to fit.
    
    Just get some bigger wheels imo if want even better brakes, AP's are expensive.

    my brakes require custom bracketry but yes initial fit they fit ehind raptors altho i am modding them to go under 13s now
