   i just been talking to a mate who this morning fitted a strut brace to his 106,but he hasnt had it lowered,can any 1 tell me y he would do this please,
   
   he has r reg 106 gti

   Doesn't matter if the car is lowered or not, it will stiffen up the chassis as said above
