Where will take out my door pins near Uxbridge

   Alright guys,
   Ive tried numerous occassions but just cant seem to unclip the door pins when taking the back of the doors off.
   Does anyone know anywhere around the Uxbridge area that would do this for me?

   is it a mk1 or mk2?
   
   if it a mk2 then its easier just to saw them off when u got the doorcards off

   read the guide its well easy! did it to my mk2 the other day, just bent the pins then cut them then pulled the rest of the pin inside the door where I had cut the hole in the water proof fabric then unclipped them! any local garage should be able to do it for you, just take off the door cards and cut the fabric first both sides and say that you will put it back together again and it will cost you the least money possible !

   when you do de-pin ur door locks this might sound stupid but how does the door lock then ? and also can you still use the key fob to lock it ?

   it still locks the same mate, only difference is you cant lock/unlock it from the inside, makes no difference to the fob etc.

   if it's a mk2, don't saw them off, or ull be f**ked if u ever want to put them on... I removed my door pins on my mk2 few weeks back, and didn't saw them. It's a bit of a pain to do, but worth it!
   
   There's a few how-to's on this if you take a look, but basics are to remove the door cards (easy enough), and then try to have a good look inside at how the clip is clipped in, you'll see how you have to unclip it.
