Metal Pressed Plates

Does anyone have the metal pressed plates from:

    http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/

Not French ones or anything like, that I mean the UK pressed plates. Are they 100% legal?

    Anyone got any pics?

yes and they are legal but it doesnt mean the police wont fine you as they are twats.

i have them and got pulled the other day and got a £30 fine which i now have to contest which may mean going to court.

police think they know everything and certainly wont be told they're wrong by anyone. as they said to me "look mate, we know the law" - obviously not that well.

I think i may well purchase a set my self in a couple weeks

What grounds do they have to fine you?

How can you prove them wrong??

the fact that they dont know any better means they will fine you.

i rang to complain and they said they were doing their job to the best of their knowledge or something along those lines.

not sure how to prove them wrong yet. i rang dubmeister to ask for their help and they said the dvla will be able to tell the police that pressed plates are legal so i think i'm going to go to the station (like i was told to) and get the constable or sergeant to ring the dvla as they are the only ones who can void my fine without going to court. thats what i was told anyway.

I know the F band ones are illegal but pressed plates are fine.

You can have GB or E.

however i only ever got pulled once for my plates, and that was to tell me i might be pulled by saddo traffic police, we had a laugh and they drove away

I keep a copy of my invoice from dubmiestier in the glove box. If i ever get pulled ill show them that and it clearly states road legal. They have the E-mark printed on them aswell. If they still find it sufficient grounds to fine me ill go to court over it.
They will loose but in the unlickly event of them finding me at fault i will contact dubmiester and they can sort it out with officer dibble
