What springs . . . .

   Been modding jap cars recently so more clued up on what suspension suits them more.
   
   i have a vts, and was planning on dropping it 40mm, dont want silly low as it aint practical.
   
   i was wondering what springs you would recommend, also would you just go for springs at a 40mm drop or would you replace shockers aswel with a 40mm drop.
   
   i remember people saying upto 40mm was ok on standard shocks.
   
   also what make does a 40mm drop?

   ive got spax suspension kit that lowers by 40mm and the torsion bar set to match
   its pretty good for corners and looks

   any pictures off your car from side on, with the 40mm drop?
   
   did you just replace the springs or shocks aswel?

   havent got any atm coz camera on phone is broken but im getting it fixed on sat if you can wait till then
   yeah ive replaced the dampners and shocks only way to go for looks and ride

   looks a little higher than i was wanting, but would really need to see it from side on
   
   yeah saturday is fine, gonna fit timing belt and service it 2moro, ordered induction kit and strut brace for it, so just gonna decide how much i want to lower it before i order the suspension

   to let you know sounds like youve got some pretty good plans for your sax

   theres a sticky on supension n it gives u pics of all lowereing heights with all dif wheel sizes

    imo you should allways upgrade the dampers when lowering
    40mm is a nice height its not too low really and does look nice
    
    but really ive seen damn low cars that are still able to get about quite well
    you just need to be careful over the bumps

    im guna get spax psx 40mm.
    n ive seen some pics with 40 at the front
    and 50mm at the back so im guna do that

    got the camera fixed so here are the pics
    from side on, ive also put some before and after pics to you can see the difference
    by the way ive got 16" alloys so i dont think they would look that different on vts
    alloys due to tyre size/profile
