Standard torsion bar!?!?!

   I have a bar across the back under my car, like in line with the wheels from left to right. I assume thats the torsion bar.
   
   Only thing is its yellow and red!? But I'm pretty sure I've seen people on here with yellow and red ones but their aftermarket ones.
   
   Is mine standard or can someone tell me what it is ??

   they changed colour a few times (the main beam is allways yellow though)
   im assuming your bars are red
   besy way to know if its stanard is to measure it
   iirc 19mm is standard

   Yeh the other bar is red. Im pretty sure it is standard then. I just assumed standard ones would be boring and black

   some of them are black some are red
   tbh not many people uprate there bars (it cost a few hundred quid for a set)
   
   unless its a purely hardcore track/rally car its not nessecary

   most aftermarket bars are black. Well pugsport ones anyway, they just have painted bands on them to show you if they are 21,22,23mm bars.
   
   I expect you just have the standard bars.

   I had red pugsport bars. The most recent batch was black. Earlier standard bars are red, later standard bars are black.
   
   So basically measure them.
   
   The beam is yellow, there are two torsion bars, one in front and one behind it.

   ye as sed yellow thick rear beam with a red torsion bar either side of it should be as iv seen
