    Aren't....steelies....heavier

I think it depends on what alloys you buy- there's a world of difference.
Eg oz wheels and some team dynamics are pretty light, but ripspeed (and other poo brands) will weigh the earth!

My bk333's only cost like 52 quid each and they are well light removed my spare wheel the other day and that weighed a tonne in comparison. Can't remember the full name but something compomotives are really light..

c5 steelies are only 4.6kg's a wheel that's lighter than most alloys tbh!

I'm using them on my euro beast over winter

    are they 15''

    yes suvvy they are 15s

tbh it all comes down to which steelie and which alloy

    lees wheels weigh 4.6 kg
some steelies weight up to about 7 i think max

then alloys i have seen down to similar weight or up to stupd amounts due to chrome plating ect

but tyres will make the bigger difference imo
for example a toyo r888 is heavier that a 'normal' tyre due to thicker sidewalls
some cheap brand tyres have quite thin walling so are quite light
also i had i direct compare of a 16"(195/40/16 trye) ultraleggera to a 15" (195/45/15 tyre) and the 15 felt heavier due to the bigger tyre (both had toyo proxes t1rs on) so it can vary even on tiny things

and the pressures will add a little aswell
a higher pressure the more air (so the denser the concentration) and a few more grams lol

howver much i mock about pressures though rotational weight is often highly overlooked for lighter body panels ect
the ratio of unspring is something like 2kg=10kg if you were to strip it from the car

Anyone got a spare set of C5s they want to shift?

c5 wheels have been known to crack but they are fairly cheap from ciroen. i ave considered these

    What do they look like?

c5 wheels are actually made from alloy...

just felt like throwing that into the mix
