Hi, was just finking would it be possible to make 3 point harnesses on pretensioners. i'd like to have harnesses but when pulling out of junctions it can be tricky to look clearly round corners. The harnesses keep you tight to the seat so movement is limited. Anyone like to help me out? (done a search btw)
Harnesses on pretensioners?

#2thats not the pretensioners
and i spose you could modify some harnesses like mine (have a release behind the seat to recline) to fit the rear belts too
imo its not worth it you get use to not moving after a few weeks -
#3Think its Sabelt that sell them that move a small amount like your on about. Try Demon Tweeks for them.
Pretensioners are the small explosive charge taht lock the seatbelt when you are having a crash btw

#4i havent seen any harnesses that move
defies the point of harnesses tbh
however i think with some like these

you could fit a modified normal belt into the back release
but i thinkits pointless -
#5Inertia reel is the name of the belt your talking about.

#6There were a set that had a small inertia reel on them so that the driver could move forwards slightly - think they were designed for road cars rather than track, and probably more for styling than anything. Not seen them for a while, so whether they still do them is another question.
Also agree that they are pretty pointless. Might as well just have seatbelts
