    keep at it sanding is the key to a good finish, if you want to cheat a bit use some filler primer after some etch primer has been applyed

    DONT USE PAINT STRIPPER!!! it softens the alloy!!!

    sanding does take forever, thank god the sandblaster was invented!! lol

    hmmmm alloy is a soft metal mate, paint stripper wont do any damage to it, didnt to mine just got to be careful you dont get it on the tyre

    true. Ive used paint stripper on all the alloys ive done, no ones said theyre alloys have bent over or anything.

    i does soften them, when i had my old wheels powder coated, my friend that owns a powdercoating place told me not to use any spirits on them, so i got them sandblasted.

    he is a trustworthy bloke and knows his stuff.
