Nice one guys but already got it in a garage this morning cause i have no idea how to repair cars
I wish i knew earlier though cause the garage i put it in today have broke 8 of me wheel bolts so cant pick it up until tomorrow as they have to get me new ones from shitreon.

    Thanks anyway

how did they break your wheelbolts

    wtf?!!
  7. #7
Arr mate they seam a right bunch of numties!

They told me that 2 wheels came off fine but with the other two wheels, 2 bolts had seized so had to be broke off and the other six bolts where snapped at the ends by the time the got them out! maybe do to cold weather? dont ask

I Personally think they didnt bother use the locking wheel nut so forced the bolts out and had to style it or something.

wtf sound like idiots to me.

bolts can snap, usually its when idiots do them up with wheel guns as tight as possible instead of using the correct torque settings.

Also wishbones are easy to fit.
  10. #10
why did they remove rear wheels to fit wishbones?? lol
  11. #11
Good point dint even think of that! ha ha
I'll quiz them tomorrow because now i have to fork out 25 quid for these bloody nuts and i'm sure its their fault in the first place. I hate these cowboy garages but its the only one ive seen for miles. lol

Why pay them 25 quid if THEY broke something that's nothing to do with you. Wishbones are at the front of the car. Hmmmm..... Ripping you off.

I'd get the car out ASAP and get Ryan? to do it

I know your right mate, they were saying that the nuts were broke already in the wheel but surely they would of fell of then wunt they? I dont know what to do now cause i'm not sure if they have continued to fit the wishbones today and just waiting on the bolts or if they just sacked the whole job off untill tomoz.

its just one of them things int it, learn from mistakes i guess
  15. #15
if the bolts were broken in the hub the heads would be missing and so would your wheels
  16. #16
    GETTING RIPPED OFF MATE!!!

    1) Ask them why they took off rear wheels
    2) If my bolts are nakered how come i've still got wheels?
    3) I refuse to pay 25 quid for an error you made for being clumsy.

Yeah trust me mate i'm gonna find out exactly what went on cause it was the women in the reception that phoned me and said what happened so gonna talk to the merchanic to hear his explaination.
I always see a scally working there which owns a modded 106 so wunt be surprised if he done the work probably getting trained or something.
  18. #18
Nothing wrong with someone working on your car thats getting trained IMO.. As long as its right and dont fuck it up then its ok. Oh yer.. And boss checks the work.

that sounds odd how they took the rear wheels of tho, and like everyone is saying if your bolts were broke then you wouldnt have the wheels attached! lol
