I see alot of you make your "Citroen" + "Saxo" black.
I think it was on VTS_CRAIG's progress that it said all he did was T-CUT them Is this right ?? i'm assuming so.
Do you have to use black T-CUT and how long will it take??
    Cheers

p1500 wet and dry, a bit of water, and it take 30 seconds, no need for rubbing hard
  6. #6
    I'm famous woooo

Just get some t-cut and rub it on with a cloth

T-cut is an abrasive thing, doesn't come in colours, just buy some t-cut
  7. #7
wet n dry ?? the thing you use in Product Design at GCSE ?? lmao
  8. #8
    takes about 10mins

    really easy to do

stop moanin about threads that are actually helpful you arse and start moanin about how many TOP GEAR REMINDER threads there are on this site.

this thread is a guy asking for help and not to remind people whats on TV .... but then again a NON-HELPFUL thread seems to be more popular on this site than a HELPFUL one!!!!!

and btw you'd be the first to recieve neg rep from almost everyone on this thread mate

    neg rep ftw
  35. #35
VTR craig yours do actually look resprayed, t cut does come in colours but dont worry about which colour you use all will do the same job on your badge!

tbh if you have spray lying around id do it that way they look alot better, have a troul (sp) through pred progress he sprayed his, also in mine i sprayed mine white though.
  36. #36
Thanks VTR_craig, much appreciated. Will do it tomorrow before work (as long as its not icey) and il take some pics
  37. #37
well im going to say it too use the search button, if you cant find anything then your using it wrong, the search page has a lot of features on it

also check the stickies, i made a guide for doing this

these are both in the rules

  40. #40
Did mine few weeks back look quite dull might give the car a good wash and get all the crap from round the badges
  41. #41
i didnt t-cut mine or anything liek that, just took them of gave them a few coats of matt black spray paint, put them back on job done.

  42. #42
    but t-cuttin sounds easier
  43. #43
it might do, but this was about 10 mins if that, you can do what you want, you still get the same results.
  44. #44
i just dont really want the hassle of taking them off and putting them back on again i dont know whether id trust maself - not knowing properly i think CRAIG said its about 10minutes each badge ...
  45. #45
loving this mod cheers craig gonna try this out as well!

    Cheers Craig
  47. #47
going to do this tonight looks great
  48. #48
    Looks sweet mate,
    Gonna do mine soon.
  49. #49
you can leave the badges on the car and get the same effect as t cutting them but in about 45 seconds for each badge! i borrowed my mates buffer with some polish for the paint he had and did both rear badges. dint take anymore than a couple of mins happy days
  50. #50
    T-cut dem!
  51. #51
    lol nooooooobs ftw
  52. #52
    Noobs FTW!

Lol. Anyways... I'm thinkin' of just tearin' mines off... Sandin' them a bit.. Gettin' the primer over them then a few coats of gloss black. I do know however that they're kept on by some sort of glue shit... To get it to stick in right would I just slap some sort of adhesive on the back of the badges?
  53. #53
I just did mine now... Steel wool to get off the silver shit... then. T-Cut!

I'll get that mesh painted soon too.
  54. #54
im loving the look of that, will be doing that on wed if the weather is alright after work
