    can i spray my rocker cover with just normal spray paint or does it have to be high temp paint

    Hammerite paint is pritty good bud!! used it on few engines now.........

    I didnt use high temp paint and mines fine! Been on car for over a year!

    he's telling you to use the search bar....he did it to me - has a go at you if you ask a question - dont worry about it, just theres alot of similar threads on here is the point hes making O well dude you'll have to get some pics up if you've done it

    if u prime and laquear it and leave a while to cure, then apparently it doesnt. to be on the safe side i threw on the hammerite

    apparently laquear takes a week to cure. for the engine bay things get quite toasty so if it wer me i would leave it a week atleast. or u could always opt for the sprayable hammerite

    lacquer it and then bake it on in your oven.
