    Need some advice,

The Mrs has got a vtr and had a few probs with it started with a broken front spring (replaced both) then came a clunking from the front end drop links suggested (replaced both) still the bloody clunking ! Drive shafts suggested (replaced both) guess what still F**king clunking, took it to the garage was told one front strut was busted and top mounts shot (had all replaced), car was running sweet as a nut until about a week ago the Mrs said when turning on full lock the front bangs like f**k felt like the wheel had come off, back at the garage they recon 99.9 % its the gear box
Was thinking of doing something very bad to the car, sell it, scrap it. We have throw loads of cash and my time as a diy mechanic on it so where can i get a recon gear box for a sensible price and clutch kit why we are there.

how many miles has it done??
sounds like your plantery/diff is fucked mate,
they would shag your shafts and explain the clunking.
