I plan to get my car serviced but don't want to pay a garage to do it.

Plan to ask a mechanic mate to do it for me.

What does the service involve?

Air Filter? Got a new 57i kit coming anyway

Spark plugs?
Oil Filter?

what else?

Also if anyone can suggest a cheap retailer where i can buy these items - on-line would be handy

www.eurocarparts.com mate..i think they are good! erm just tryin to think what we do at work..cant remember! def oil change,plugs,air filter,check and top up fluids etc just all stuff like that and clean brakes up! shudnt cost you too much to do yourself mate!

if u look in ya saxo book it tells u what needs to b done at what mileage!

it only costs about £100 from agarage. thats all its costing me at the top of my street. thats on a vts with 54000 on the clock

at my place we do a full service for £129 and thats everythin mate including a hoover at the end lol
