#12Sorry about my last reply, didnt see that you had told us its a vtr.
Anyway, first things first i would give it a good service, oil and filter change, replace air filter or if its an induction kit clean it thoroughly, swap the spark plugs, replace the fuel filter and its always worth putting some injector cleaner in your petrol. And finally i would remove the lambda sensors from the exhaust and clean the tips of them (carefully) as these can sometimes get clogged.
See what effect that has.
It could possibly be a faults temp sensor, giving the ecu false temperature readings and therefore not giving the correct fueling.
Let us no what happens.
Hope this is of some help. -

#15on my 106 (i know its not a saxo) mine kept stalling (NO BOYS IT WASNT ME!) and it was my o2 sensor x
-
#16now i've done a service plugs oils and so on.took for a drive did the same.but now it's stopped since i filled the fuel tank up when i got the car it had just under half.put in some injecter cleaner seems to have solved all my probs cheers guys.another quick question.when car is warmed up where does everyone's temp guage hang around mine just over half way is this right for saxo.do they run hot.same as old ford cvh.
-
#17i would say that is about right, between half way and slightly over, depends on how you drive aswell obviously
-
#18Perfectly natural with a saxo temp gauge nothing to worry about.
Steve.
