lowering springs

   can you get 60mm springs for a 1.1 because the only ones i can find are 50mm but you can get 60mm springs for a vtr/s can i just use these springs?

   The engine is noticeably heavier in the VTS in particular compared to the 1.1 so even if you did fit the 60mm springs from the vts with the weight difference you'd be no lower than the 50mm springs which you can get for the 1.1 anyway which have been specifically made for it

   As Kam says you can get custom springs made, alternatively if you have plenty of cash going spare theres the coil overs option
   
   both will be much more than a bog standard off the shelf set of springs

   yer shame i dont have loads of spare cash otherwise coilovers would be ideal
