Someone please help im close to scrapping the fucking thing at this rate! My gears are so stiff especially into 1st and 2nd. 1st is a nightmare it just gets stuck and 2nd sorta just grinds into it. the others are okay but they are not exactly smooth. Reverse is sometimes a problem. I'v had my gearbox reconned not to long ago. So... i'm thinking a new clutch or gear linkages. Any help or suggestion would be aprecciated. as i say my next step is gear linkages, gearbox oil and clutch.

if they are then its more than likely the clutch i think -

#5take quickshift off if you have one, replace linkages, change gearbox oil then see how you go
if you still think theres a problem their take it to a garage like Mr Clutch and they can check it for you for free... -

#6i do actually have a GE quickshift on there but it was fine when i originally put it on. I could try taking it off though like you suggested. How do i tighten the clutch and what will that do?

#7tbh the quickshift wont have much effect on stiffness
to adjust the clutch look at the linkage on top of your gearbox (the long black one) itll have the cable going in the back and a threaded bit coming out the front with a couple nuts on it
tighten them up a bit
