squeek..........hmmm

   rite ave got a wee annoying squeek wen a take off slow/low revs in 1st n 2nd gear? any one had this befor? ar any ideas what it could be?
   its a "T 99" saxo vtr

   check out aux belt first... if it's not that, check out cam belt tensioner. i ignored a similar squeek on a 106 1.4xs and it went away... then cambelt jumped a few teeth at 5k rpm after tensioner died and resulted in 4 bent exhaust valves. so i wouldn't reccomend ignoring the sqeek

   i think it could be sumthing to do with the exhaust now, because a was out n about last night and its blown, the squeek has got alot quieter aswell hmm............ al pop it into the garage tomoro.

   mine does it wen it first starts up and only wen its cold, think its the power steering pump
