lights back to standard but what do you prefer...

   well i sanded the paint off my rears spent all day doing it, and lights look abit shit cuz the plastic is damaged abit from sanding and using stripper.
   
   ive took some pics of the standar lights when i was out side washing me car, when the lights are wet they look mint but when they dry they look abit powdery.
   
   anyways what do you prefer?

   Both look good but i think i would have to go for the silver because they look really well done. Love how your car looks though!

   mad every one been telling me for ages to get standard lights n now they are more people that prefere them silver ha

    get the early mk1 ones (slightly more tinted at the top, from a 96, 97 saxo) or get mk2's. i had those later mk1 lights and i didnt like them

    mate glad you sanded em, if you want to clean em up, use some really fine grade wet n dry then get your hands on a buffer and polish em should make em as good as new just dont let them get to hott lol

    i like the look of the silver ones, but not very legal lol, if someone crashed into you they could say they couldnt see the lights.

    No not by a very long shot. They not only illegal but will also never pass a proper MOT.
    
    Standard all the way for me. I think they look better, they actually work, are much safer, pass a MOT and are legal to boot.

    Personaly, i think you should keep the silver ones for shows as it looks fooking wicked witht he silver lights on but obv your gunna get pulled over all the time on casual trips...
    
    But i really like the silver ones, havent seen it done on a silver one befor.

    no there not legal lads when i originaly sprayed them i read that it was legal if you only sprayed two/three coats of paint so light still shows threw but thats rong you must be able to see ligh reflecting off them aswell which don't happen when there sprayed.

    very true bud all the reason i went back to standard, i love the look of my silver ones but driving is so much more enjoyable now. dont get people rite up my arse even tho they can see my lights they just wanna be funny with me and people putting there full beams on even tho its day time and people shaking there heads and looking at me in disgust, there all just trying to make a point i gues, but most of all if i see police now there is nothing illegal on my car any more

    Nah already got a nice powerflow exhaust on mine but could be a good idea if was to get another saxo. I'm spending to much money on my 1.1 think its time for an upgrade.

    didn't even realise your sax was a 1.1 lol looks like a beast as well. keep it and get an s or r conversion
