Body kit (arches) on a 5 Door

  1. #1
Well i have a 5 door saxo mark 2 and was wondering is it possible to put on some wheel arches (think its what theyr called)

basically i want that vtr look but i know the normal vt* kits dont fit, does anyone know of a place that has them for a 5 door? had to get a 5 door since i have to take people in the back often

Gonna be keeping this car for another year or 2 if it lives, Since insurance will kill me on something over a 1.1 also too much hassle of finding a new car.

also does anyone know if any spoiler will fit thats designed for a saxo? thinking of getting one

    Thanks for any help

any standard saxo will fit. mk1 may be a bit tricky to make sit right as its big and sits off the spoiler. i went with the mk2 spoiler cos its small and subtle , just bonded it onto the rear window with tigerseal of ebay

The 5-doors look a LOT better than the 3 door in base model form.

i think i agree, the 3 door base models look a a tad odd its like the back is a bit bent or something i think its the rear windows

that 5 door looks amazing, first vt kitted 5 door ive seen. how did they do that to the vt arches and door panels? just alot of trimming i guess? and are those rear door panels just front door ones arent they

that must of took alot of work.. especially on the door panel cos the doors are completely different on the 5 door and slope in at the bottom so i'm guessing lots of filler was used or welding of some kind. Looks amazing thou.. Every body shop that i went to with Viper said there's no way of fitting a VT kit to a 5 door.

you can get vt kits which are not citroen ones with deep pockets you could probably get them to fit or a lot of cutting.

I would of thought the front wheel arches should fit fine? the rear and sides would be hard

id imagine any compitent (sp) bodyshop could do it full vt kit + 2 extra side skirts & door panels, plastic weld a section out of the into the orignals to lengthen them, bolt front & rear bumper on, front arches should go straight on, prob abit of trimmming to get the door panel on the front to look right, rear arch panel may need extending using a front panel, then drill clip & bond it all in place
