Exhaust Problems

   right bit of a long story. had an exhaust fitted by powerflow 3 weeks ago.A Quad 3 1/2" FUll s/s System.
   
   Since 2 weeks ago i have had a nokcign around sorta noise. The cars been back 2 powerflow 4 times and its starting to piss me off. They have done up bolts checked everything. grrr.. Still no success.
   
   The nature of the noise is that it seems to be cumming from where the bottom of the manifold connects to the exhaust. the strange thing is that it only happens when the engine is cold! Powerflow is 45min drive away so evertime i get up there the engine is very hot and i cannot reproduce the noise!
   
   Simo reccomended that it may be the bolt which bolts to bottom of the gearbox. I told Powerflow this and they said they didnt touch this area so cant be that! looked quite tight when was under car.
   
   Second problem is thati droove over a bag in my lunch today and all its sorta left shit all over my s/s pipe just after the manifold. Will this just burn off or is it gona leave horrible mark? Smell funny ect?

   centre section knocking underneath the handbrake area? from engine vibrations?

   the bag will melt and smell, but will eventually come off.
   
   could it not be the exhaust knocking on the gear linkage??

   If powerflow cant hear the noise then they cant do any thign bout it

    i hate powerflow!!could be what scott said, maybe the mounting bracket from exhaust to gear box has snapped..thats a possibility!you thought about taking it to another powerflow garage?maybe the ones at that garage just cant be arsed to help you...heard stories like that about powerflow before!

    or is it just the exhaust buffler thing, as it happened on my old punto and my mates clio, with powerflow exhausts!
