Hi im looking to change my brake calipers to something better. I've already got 283mm discs on the front with red stuff pads. The calipers im looking at are the brembo's off a 3.0L V6 406 Coupe or a set of Hi-spec 4 pots meant for a saxo. Just wanted to see if anyone could tell me what would be better out the 2.
What would be the better brake calipers?

#2i would imagine the brembos would be the cheaper option and offer as gooder performance as the hi-specs (although i should imagine the hi-spec would be mint but bloody dear)
-
#3The price on both are working out roughly the same. Hi-spec brand new are around £250 and the brembos go on ebay 2nd hand for around the same price

#4hi-spec....as the look better and if there brand new there less likely to have anything go wrong with them...
link to were there 250? -
#5There not online mate. Carnoisseur in dunstable 01582 477441. So you reckon Hi-spec will give me better braking right?

#7thats probably for discs and calipers. I think the the guy who owns the dunstable branch may have sorted out the price for me a little aswell as i have bought already a strut brace, wheel boss kit and xenons off him. If you want a set ring il ring him and just confirm the price
