Whats the difference tbh....

   Hey guys.
   
   Well ive getten myself a raceland enclosed filter (eventually)
   
   Bought second hand but does the job, now it came with the Raceland filter which i did not want to use. So i have a KnN sitting in there, its off my mams zr and is the same size as the green filters.
   
   Now i have seen a few people on here recently slating KnN's saying they are crap get the green, go green, get a green filter etc etc
   
   Seriously what is the difference???
   
   They are both cotton gause are they not??
   They both need oiling the same...
   They both the same size (well the one im using is)
   
   I can DEFINATLY feel the difference with it, especially after 4k
   
   Just wondering why people are allways saying use a green etc etc when really they are the same, tbh...

   EDIT - im not losing out having a KnN in there am i?? seems to work excellent tbh....

   mate K and N where one of the first performance filters on the market, and there still going, my dad had them on his twin carb chrystler sunbeam ti back in the 80s, they are genuinley good, as above sheep syndrome, they used them on everything that was raced back in the day.

   Yeah your right mate, theres a lot of sheep info given on here, and if one prominent member disses a brand it normally gets it from everyone. Ive got a sportex backbox on my car, theyre seen as shit on here but its well made, the pipes perfect and it sounds awesome. Raspy as fook. And I def noticed a diff with it and the straight through put on. Im happy with it but most people on here wouldnt buy one

   the green one is the one people go for but tbh theres two tenths of fuck all difference between that and any other decent make (k+n included). its all just personal preference. one person bought a green and reccomended it, that got the ball rolling so now everyone says green ftw.
