Kent Fast Road Camshaft

   Hi,
   
   I am currently looking to improve the performance of my mk2 vtr from 122bhp upwards. Currently I have had a re-map, manifold with a de-cat and a 2inch straight thru exhaust system with a 5inch backbox. All this work has improved the performance to the 122bhp I have a the moment.
   
   So my question is has any1 got the 'Kent Fast Road Camshaft' on there vtr and doe they make much of a difference to the performance?? Also how much am I looking to pay for labour?

   You sure them mods will give you that much a gain?
   
   maybe with the cams you might see 120 ish bhp, but just breather mods i dont think it will increase it that much.

   Hi Ral, what does she feel like to drive at the moment? Does it feel a lot quicker than standard? The cam will probably trade low end torque for high end hp on the rev range.

   sounds like not many mods for that much power?

   I'd use a newman cam and save £100!

   i like the newman shafts they seem a decent kit and are a tad cheaper
   
   for 122 breathed it seems high
   remember cloud/james ran 122 with a camshaft and rallye inlet

   122bhp off them mods is mad and why would you want a 5 inch back box?
