would this be too loud?

   i have a 3" sportex back box i have been looking at the centre section or "race pipe" as sporex call it, its £49 delivered, it will get rid of the centre silencer, wil this make it TOO loud? i have a pipercross open filter aswell, will it make it a lot louder?? all help appreciated.

   i have that exact same system on my 106 mate, on standard mani with cat and standard induction, sounds nice when driving round town or having a blast around the open roads and that gives the odd pop but does my nut in driving on motorways, just too boomy even witth the music on full

   I have that system mate, sportex racing tube and sportex backbox. But i have a decat aswell. And no its not too loud at all. Annoying on long motorway journeys yes, but not too loud.

   no dyno, pulled slighlty better but hardly noticable, a decat would improve it more

   with the cat in it wouldnt be too loud no
   a lot of the noise is stopped in the cat

   iv got a straight through to 4" back box on my s1 pug. i would say its too loud but it does like to give out pops flames and bangs. hehe. and i totaly agree with every1 else motorways killl
