VTS tuning advise???

    hello this is my first post, I have a 2002 saxo vts with the following mods;
    decat,
    miltek sports exhaust,
    piper cross air filter,
ported & polished throttlebody (the one where the air filter connects to),
    4-2-1 manifold.

I plan to have 708's camshafts, lightened flywheel and an ECU remap.
My question is, is my planned modz suitable for the modz I already have to acheive about 160bhp? and also is a lightened flywheel worth getting with my setup as i require fast acceleration?

    thank you!

oh ok hiflowheads sell one for £88 is that one as good as all the other places that make them?
and also what else could I do to my car to increase acceleration? have read that the 106 rallye gearbox increases acceleration on vts's but reduces top end, which doesn't bother me as i only want fast acceleration?

with those mode you should see around 150-155bhp. for anything more you have got to go the extra mile with everything. such as:

    port & polished head,
    gasflowed inlet manifold,
    heatwrap your 4-2-1manifold
get an enclosed induction kit with the best possible cold air feed
make sure your 4-2-1 is port matched to your head
    staight through exhaust system,
    thinner headgasket & skimmed head

the list goes on. on their own these buts dont make a lot of difference but together they all add up. mine made 166bhp@fly with similar mods to what you are planning. but asll the above was also done!

i had 152 with that kinda spec
get the head sorted and a standalone (a lot easier to fine tune the map) if you want 160

unless going bodies on a mk1 i wouldnt bother witrh standalone as the ecu is more tunable/ more codes are accessible but being as yours is a mk2 engine i agree with Alex. go standalone and you could see more power.
