best track tyres for £240

    hi all,
    looking to buy some track tyres for my rallye wheels
    i have about £240 to spend.
    want one's that will last a few track day

    for all of my track days ive used Yokohama A539's never had a problem with them. tread lasts for ages. had them for nearly 2 years now and im changing the front 2. so not bad wear.

    not sure how much the Yokohama Prada's are though. might be worth a look as well

    i used Yokohama Prada's last time at croft good in the dry devil tyres in the wet

    u will get 4 for 240 quid if u shop around

    Sorry tom but they dont do them anymore. Your right though they are quite good.

    was looking at the yoko prada's, cheaper than the r888's but are they as good about track?

    cant comment on performance of the prada's. never had experience with them, and dont know anyone with them.

    the r888 is supposed to be a very good tyres as well. although slightly out of your budget.

    for 240 quid you could probably get hold of some r888s
    they are good for grip but from what I've seen there a little softer than ao48s

    never had experience with any others mentioned but ive used A048R's quite a bit and never had a problem with them, wear well and good all round performer.

    as for the quoted part, i think i pay 280 for a set (i know its a bit over your budget, but i think worth it) so i think u shop at the wrong shops lol.
