where to get a grill from?

    im after a new grill for my vtr where can i get one thats not silly priced or poor quality

    Im after exactly the same thing, Theres 2 on Ebay, I think they was about £70 something like that

    get your standard grills, or mk1 smiley i get them for £18 brand new through a mate, take out the middle then fill it in with mesh piece of cake

    my standerd grill cant be cut about and if i tryed it would be more hasle than it was worth, heres my car see wot i mean

    do what saxoll said, when i had a mk1 i cut the clips off the grille and bought some mesh from Halfrauds for 15 quid and cut it to size job done

    i wont to buy a proper one,just dont wont to buy one thats poor quality, i have seen them on ebay but i dont no wot the quality is like or if there over priced.

    Or just do it yourself, go to scrappy find a silver grille and give it a bash, all i did was cut the clips off and use shite loads of glue to stick the mesh down. Been on over a year and its still fine

    looking at my standed grill i would have to cut about 4 inchs away from near the top to get it to look any good, is that about right?
    i i do cut mine about anyone got a guide or a pic or 2 to help me out?

    Just go to a scrappy mate and get a later style MK1 grill as it wont work with your type. Should only be about a tenner.

    ok, just looked at your thread and see that the grill you started out with is diffrent to mine, was yours a standed grill? as its diffrent to mine

    Try R-tec shop
    they sell alot of good stuff for saxo's
    and i bought a mesh'd debadged grill from there
    fitted straight on with out a struggle and no marks on it anywhere
    it was completely flush
