    Me Personally im not a boy racer but i like the rides they
    all drive.. manily around my area its the Corsa, Saxo or pug 106
    and i noticed many try race me at the lights which i dont mind
    but my standard vtr does neva compare..

    whats the cheapest way to get lil bit more performance from my car

    if they have a corsa how they win when you have a vtr? they have like 1.1 corsas after all there boy racers, unless they have a 1.8 corsa which i doubt.

    learn to drive better... you could easily burn of cars alot faster than a vtr in your standard vtr if you can get gear changes right

    joking aside, a nice enclosed air filter, manifold, decat and a uprated exhaust system will be a good start mate

    you can run them in series mate.

    best mod i did to the vtr, think that mite be why it caurght fire, dont think it could handle the instant 300bhp increase and the 150bhp shot of noz.
    I was along side a rx7, to scared to look at the speedo, i didnt want to loose and hand over the pink slip, so i flicked the noz prime and hit the switch.
    i blitzed the rx7 and won, but the car burst into flames when i was slowing down

    the rx7 i got on pink slips, just wasnt as good.
    so i got myself a better saxo, got the vts BABY!!

    peeps are scared to pink slip now, we just do it for pink helmets these days.

    depends - are you part of the crowd who thinks they can turbo charge your car or improve mods massivly with only 100 quid?

    or do you actually want some more true power output?

    just because a car might beat you off the lights, does this mean you want to spend money just to get away from the lights first? i got power/had because its good , like been on the fair rides but better! and still managed to beat most things.

    you've got to want to have more power, not just because some body has beat you.

    stage 1. exhaust - manifold - filter
    stage 2, exhaust - manifold - filter - cam with remap or a mild cam if not wanting remap.

    ultimate - vts engine... you wouldnt even need to change much on this to have it booting away quite quickly. besta all around.

    When I had my first car (a VTR), I used to speed, race blah blah blah.

    Then one day hit a wall and totally wrote it off. Im not saying were all the same I just feel
    that "street racing" is for idiots. An air filter/exhuast/decat isnt really going to change the
    world of street racing forever. Which is why this thread is a waste of space.

    Im just being an idiot as Im fueling this fire now.

    I have indeed dude. Dont know much about the Kawasaki's tbf. I'm fairly new to bikes, always been into them but only just getting to know more about them lol. Plus im not a massive fan of Jap bikes, i like them but personally think Triumphs, Ducati's etc have abit more charecter! I'll be posting a progress thread up soon

    i started with an 8 valve but never though it was something monster size like some do. hense now owning nothing but a vts since owning a vtr.

    TBH it must be how you drive, saxos are pretty good off the lights i stayed with a focus 170bhp to nearly 4th gear in my cammed vtr. and a 1.8 corsa couldn't even pull away from me.

    unless your vtr is just down on standard power?
    rolling road maybe to make sure your actually running a healthy car to start off with before you start doing stuff to it.
