Depends what you want before 50mm you will just want springs. After 50mm I suggest gettin new dampers. As for fitting you need to find a garage that specialises in torsion bars, You are looking at a bout 150 quid. Ask Kam Racing for advice imo

Depends, get a quote and remember, don't get it done in "Clicks"!

    £40-£60 for springs 2nd hand-new budget springs
£100 max for rear beam to be lowered

    Thats the essentials

as said if u go more than 40mm youll need new dampers on the front.
May aswell get new rear dampers. a good kit is a spax one for £200ish but you still need ya torsion bar adjusting £100 max.

usually get it the same all around. If your stripped out id go slightly lower at the back to lower the center of gravity though.

50mm is good for proformance, i aint far from you really (about an hour) ive just lowered mine on spax 50mm shocks and springs on front and 50mm on torsion bars by measurement (not clicks) you get the bits and im sure we can come to some sort of agreement i also have heated garage and kettle so the offers there mate if ya fancy a trip out this way

depends what you want from the car dude.
If just for the streets cant go wrong with some spax 40mm springs.

Get 2 in the box then someone who knows what they are doing needs to adjust the rear torsion bars to match.

The rear isnt on springs thats why you get two springs.

If you do a bit of searching about on here there is plenty of reading to be done

I'll echo the Spax 40mm being perfect for the streets. Got a lower strut brace on mine and it gets over the bumps no problem at all.

Height is about perfect for VTR rims imo.

how far back does your front wheel sit? would look at that mate.

spax stuff is cheap and chearful mate but still a good quality.

looks lower than 40mm on the back... boot install?
  14. #14
Nah, just slightly lower at the back.

Wheel was turned in the picture, hence the angle.

go 50mm at the front mate and 60mm at back. thats wat i did. ive got it stripped in the boot, but i love it being that low. i think it may even be 70mm at back. 50mm on the front leave it so the arch literally sits by the top of the tyre, so u dont have to see in the arch like on standard cars. it all blends in quite nice.
