    as above. got a vts and im spraying the cam covers. what have all you boys used and has it stayed on despite oil getting on it from the filler cap?

    iv used heatproof spray before but that comes off after a while.

    is halfords sprays ok or should i use hammerite?

    I did the ones on my 306 s16 with halfords aerosols and it lasted fine

    get some nice shiny bolts to fit with it. Available from forsale section

    if your worried about it peeling you could give it a couple of coats of laquer to help the finish.

    Been recommended previously to use etch primer to eat into the alloy. Then aerosols should be fine as the covers don't get too hot.
