What about the back end? Will it be alright carrying a full car with a -40mm rear end?

    What about on 195/45/15's?

Ahh I see, but GTI dampers (and I'll assume both S and maybe R) are uprated from standard 1.1's

So does anyone know if itd be the same result on 1.1 suspension?

If not could always find some GTi dampers

Hey..... I'm thinkin' of lowering mine about 40mm... But it's already dropped around about 20mm ""I think""......
I'm lookin' at 40mm but I'm also wantin' 16" rims.... Will I still get full lock or do you think that's just wishful thinking?

16's and 40mm is close i think i expect if you have people in the back you will get rubbing though... depends on the tyre profile aswell!
