Vtr head replayment

rite, im looking at buying a new vtr engine to go on in my vtr, which pug1off are most likely to fit, and have also seen a new head which is like stage 3 spec etc etc for sale on high flow heads.
how easy is the change over, and what is involved??
    cheers

replacing the head is fairly easy - would be easier to fit whilst the engine is on a stand instead of in the car.

Basically remove all the bits from your old head, and put them on the new head then fit it.

inlet, exhaust manifold, cam + rockers + rocker cover, thermostat housing - might have forgotten a few bits.

Then put the new head back on with new headgasket and headbolts.

If your confident .. yes and have basic - medium mechanical knowledge, 1st you need to time it up and take the belt off, then take the exhaust manifold off, then the inlet manifold, then off comes the rocket cover, undo all 10 head bolts 1/2 turn working your way from centre then undo them all and take out and then the head should lift off, you also have to disconet all the wires/sensors etc, some people leave the inlet on but if your putting a new head on may aswel leave most of it connected in the engine bay. Dont forget thats just a summary of whats involved, you need to read up on timing if you are unsure.
