   hi guys just wundering if a pug gti manifold would fit on the vtr so that it could by pass the cat

   port spacing is the same as the vts on the gti
   
   need an 8v manifold not a 16v

   Yeah, GTi would fit VTS, but not VTR - If you look, there's a fair bit of difference just on the standard manifolds on the 8 and 16v's..

   i presume you have a mk2 with cat in the manifold, so to de cat you can just use the mk1 vtr manifold

   Oil filter is in the way mate
   
   Though there's a kit to move the filter!

   never knew that, would the mani with cat in catch on the old style filter?
