CV boot change

    as above is it easy to do? how is it done? ones on my new gti need doing when I get it so was wondering if it is doable or a garage job.

    easier to replace shaft imo and also alot quicker lol or you need an expanding boot tool as the cv joint dosnt come off iirc on the saxo's some people use cut bottles with fairy liquid lol..

    just replace the whole shaft.

    a boot costs £7 a shaft cost£70 its worth doing
    put boot in a micro wave to soften it up
    then use a washing up bottle over the joint
    it will be a bit of a fight but this system WORKS
