What are these circled bits called?

Having a real blonde moment lol

(P.s not my car pulled the pic off google )

there called mouldings or bumpstrips. if its a flat arch then these bits will follow from the indicator to the rear bumper and are only about 2 inches wide. if its got a vt kit on it then they are the whole lower door panel

    Cheers

Are they easy to replace or are they part of the door on a 1.1i desire?
  4. #4
easy to replace they just pull of they are only on with clips. if your carefull you will be able to save the clips for the new moulding if not then you can get them from citroen.

  14. #14
Easyer to stick vt kit on..................
  15. #15
yeah i wanna stick a vt kit on it if i buy it tbh
  16. #16
depends how you look at it. you have to buy the kit and if your doing it rite the wingliners, line the kit up drill holes for the clips, cut the rear arches, then get it painted off the car then fit it all back on. if you fill the holes all you need is a welder some filler then paint the car job done

you said it wuld be a waste of money lol

took me a weekend to do mine. can be done cheaper and quicker by just bonding the kit on not having any wing liners and buying a kit the same colour as your car. but if a jobs going to be done might aswell be done rite.well thats they way i say it anyway. when fitting the side skirts you need some sort of spacer for the screws as the vt's have pin heads welded to the undersill then a weird shape clip over them and then a small torx screw to fix the underneath of the skirt itself.
