Meshing grill

   i am thinking of meshing / de-badging (whatever you want to call it) my grill and have my cold air feed comeing through the mesh, its a blue cap so would go with the rest of my car. It wouvd stick out in one corner not in the middle and i suppose would provide better intake as well.
   
   Just not sure... what do you think?

   will look good if you do it right and dont make a mess of it. just take your time and do a good job on it. cold air feed will look mean poking out of it too

   the ripspeed diamond shaped mesh looked ok on my old mk1

   hmmm jsut the fact that is ripspeed, you can get actually ripspeed mesh that has the R or ripspeed going acrosss haha

   once you take it out the packaging you wouldn't know what "brand" it is apart from the fact you'll have a lighter wallet... lol

    used body filler with the hardener. held it there for about 3 years as as far as i know its still on there today lol

    i think itll look well cool with the air feed sticking out
    if you decide to go for some mesh to just pop up halfruads and get any old mesh
    just spray it black after looks nicer imo..

    Also just alderite it back together rather than using body filler

    prob best to just buy black mesh, stone chip and that will eventually take black paint off so youll have to keep on resprayinevery few months or so

    Wont it prevent the bonnet from being opened if it pokes out of the grill? Just a thought.
