think they will look the nuts!
im going to get them on my silver 1.1 when ive refurbed my vts alloys gloss black -
#3They are just tinted standards.
Look like mine but obviously a little darker.
-
#4yer but they look better because they are darker
did you do urs then and is it hard to do without it running etc..
you can just do more coats than you have done to get them to look like the 1's on ebay do aswell. -
#6ther a bit cheaper than what you posted mate
-
#7they dont look as professional though IMO.
-
#8the others are just in the light
-
#9im not that sure mate
my sisters boyfriend has a good set of this style lights on his astra and they just apear gloss black with part of the reflector showing so they are legal and they look really professional
im not to sure about them 1's you posted look abit cheap if not done to highest standard i think
im really picky on this subject aswell lol many others will probably think the 2nd one's are just as good but i dont believe so. -
#10ivwe taken another look at them you posted and they aint that bad as i first though lol
sozzzz
goood suggestion LOL -
#11ohwell i was just trying to save you a few quid being in the credit crunch and that
-

-
#13yer cheers mate aint got them on the car yet they are in mid refurb
that my car photoshopped
looks so good tho cant wait to get them done
-
#14do the front lights i think the look awesome on the lighter cars mate its becoming a rather popular item aswell
-
#15those lights do look sick but make sure you when come to buy them they do have the reflector showing, because if not police will defiantly pull you. £30 fine and ull have to produce aswell, fukin hate police lol
-
#16do your own, i did mine last summer and they look exactly the same. can of light tinting spray and laquer.
-
#17ask the seller for pics of them with the brake on so you can see how dark they are. mines are probs just as dark as them and I get pulled all the time but I still havent been fined
-
#18i got ones like that on mine and i reckon they look puker. but remember the reflective bit needs to be showing.. any excuse for the rozzers to pull you over!!
-
#19there just standard rear lights but u only get a finish like that using a gun u wont get that using piss tins and your front lights any body can do that just split the glass off and spray the outter chrome lip its looks really good
-
#20Why buy them when you can tint your standard ones.............

-
#21Police will be your best friend with them.
-
#22Yes i did mine myself, it wasn't that hard to do just a can of tinting spray and spray from side to side building the layers up. Allow time to dry before spraying again of course.Quote:yer but they look better because they are darker

I didn't want mine that dark because mine are still within the limit of being legal-ish, unlike those on the ebay link, doubt you can even see the brake lights with them! -
#23well the first ones on ebay seem to be legal and done profesionaly , iv asked for some pictures of them with the lights on to see how dark they are then. so will see what comes back
-
#24a little bit too much i think i paid 30 for mine. im not a good DIY person myself but have a go at it yourself. mine are pearl black which is different to complety black out tinted lights.
-
#25i want mine to appear completly gloss black.
but have a little bit f reflector showing at the bottom.
i think the one's off ebay the first link is the best option for me looks better than i could do and you can ask them to leave abuit of the reflector showing so they are legal.
then i always have my current standard untinted lights to fall back on if neccesary.
60 quid mark though for the lights! -
#27I agree they have been done professionally, but no way legal. They have just painted them gloss black, no reflectors etc.
-
#28ive got them on mine however mine are like the evay item, buy a can of light tinting spray of ebay and do a couple of coats and see to ur personal prefrence, looks really good and saves you some cash
-
#29If you want a really cheap option of tinting your rear lights and what i believe to be a legal way. Get some black tights and stretch them round your rear lights. I know everyones sat there thinking wtf but it does work plus when iI got pulled by the men in blue they moaned about them which was when I came out with but the tights have got lots of little holes so the light still passes through to be fair they did their usual bollox like yeah well thats not standard etc etc but they left me to it and just gave me one of them things to change my nymberplate as the writing was illegal. So cheap way Tights!
-
#30tint your standards mate much easier takes abit of practice but aslong as it's done sumwhere warm and you dont spray streaky they look gurd! Done mine the other day. If it gose rong just wash the tint off and try again.
-
#32Quote:

#35I did buy mine off ebay but they are not the actual ones you want.
