Important! : Saxo central locking solenoid problem?

   Been having problems with my central locking... Mechanic said it could be the solenoid?
   
   Need some advice please?

   whats it doing exactly is it oe or aftermarket kit

   Wont lock... lights just flash :-(

   doubt its a soleniod then or surely it would just be the one door not locking you changed the fuse may sound stupid but worth a try

   Thats true attually. Yeah all fuses have been checked... so duno what else it could be.
   The mechanic said he has reset the system... so its working for time being, but he said its not a long term fix... but he cant tell me whats the problem until it stops working again! Sounds like a cop out 2 me.

   if its a remote central locking system it will be the remote unit thats faulty, by you pressing the button and nothing happening means the unit is not responding. Disconnect the unit and reconnect if possible if no look see if you can get a replacement unit only, thats what i did with my alarm and it solved the problem. You probebally solved it by now but incase you havent try this.
