will this be just like a manuel ? or not work because myns not working
running a power steering car with out a power steering pump?

#2ye it will just be really heavy lol.
-
#3racks are different for PAS and NON PAS, so will be heavy.
Ive driven a saxo for close to two years with a fucked ignition relay so no pas for me on my old one lol -
#4if you mean your power steering pump is broken, yeah you can still drive the car.
it'll just be heavier than a non power steering car, because you'll be force the fluid through the pipes -
#5With steering racks being quite cheap am I correct in thinking a non PAS rack will make steering lighter?
Thx -
#6No power steering is fine when the car is moving, good workout for you, dont be a wuss
-
#7lol thanks for all your help its the mk6 fiesta thats it gone on and i dont think they do a non PAS rack?
-
#8Perfect excuse for a quick rack.
-
#9if you are going to drive it without the pas, drain the pas fluid, disconnect the pipes and it wont be as hard to turn with as you wont be forcing the fluid against a pump thats not pumping.
you have to be careful, i nearly stoved my saxo a few times when the PAS was playing up, lol.
sometimes it wouldn't work for days, then all of a sudden it would come on, if i was turning and forcing it, then it came on, you would shit yourself and turn rather quickly lmbo -
#10Wack it with a hammer ?? serious suggestion
-
#11i had that too boz
driving round welsh lanes im not familiar with having a very tempremental pas pump sucks
fist thing im doing to my next saxo is dropping a 1.1 steering rack on there to get rid of the pas completely
