stopping the alternator charging for power

   Yea decent idea but a bit pricey for me to bother with. I know its cheap for the BHP gain but its only a fancy relay so im not paying £120 for it!!

   how easy would it be to wire this up and make your own lol
   
   a switch under the throttle, that is a push to break on the charging system wiht a 60amp relay. and a volt/amp meter to keep an eye on levels, as on a track day you might be at full; throttle alot, thus not charging.
   
   could make it for about £12 lol
