Any one else got a pearlescent Saxo?
Mines a red / blue / purple mix. Hard to define a colour
Just wondered how individual it was?

Its actually written on the V5 as multicoloured. In direct sunlight its red, at night its blue and in low level light its gold, but it can be any shade in between depending upon the angle of the light and the curve on the part of the car catching the light.

yeah posis, icelandics, and wicked reds are pearlescent, sometimes depending on the light, posis have a silvery gold look to them, as can icelandics, my wicked red has abit of a pinky arongey pearl, but can also look very deep red.
Most impressive pearl paint as factory though is that "icelanic-ish" grey to gold pearl that Alfa Romeo did

Yeah theres a subtle difference between pearlescent (or flip paint) and the icelandic and wicked red metallics. Im no paint expert but its something along the lines of the pearlescent is actually a layered paint where one paint can be seen through the other. Whereas metallic paint uses a metal flake to catch the light so it looks different in the light.
