GTI-6 Caliper Pistons

How do you wind them back in????

On old ones, theres like a cross so you can put something in and twist them back in, but on the new GTI6 ones, they are just smooth circles

    Any help would be appriciated

if its like a normal piston then if you dont have the proper tool then a piece of wood and a clamp or large mole grips.
dont push them in too fast as you might break the seals.

you now need to press the Thanks button x

I thought it was only the rear caliper's pistons that twisted. When I fitted my GTI6 calipers, I was able to push the pistons back with my fingers, in theory, they shouldn't be too difficult to move. The action of doing this will force fluid out, so make sure it's not capped in anyway.

theoretically speaking it should be easier to push them back if if the cap for the resovior is off
