Can anyone give me a step by step for installing a new clutch, been quoted 319.. would rather do it myself, don't have much knowledge about it but would it be possible?

#2Ask around in your local area forum, many people on here will do jobs like changing clutches etc for you probably for under £100.
As far as I know, changing the clutch isn't an easy job If you don't know what your doing. Hope this helps mate. -
#3However cheap it may be, some people would rather learn how to do it themselves as they like to learn to be indpendant and a skill like that would be useful to know!
My best advice mate would not be to try and tackle it all on your own if you have no idea what your doing! instead if you have a mate or family member etc that has done one before (not necessarily on a Saxo), ask them if they could show you how to do it! I know someone who has changed a clutch and gearbox themselves (with their mate) on a VTR with and they don't know a huge amount about cars!
Hope this helps -
#4Yerh mate, because once you know how to do it. Your going to save alot of money! would rather learn, ive been explained it by a few m8s and ino a few people that have done it. so worse comes to worse they can help. But i think im going to give it ago, try and follow Haynes lol! thanks for your help mate!
