also been told that once i get the cams and fitted i would be better off getting a remap rather than chipped as ive been told i would get more benefits from the remap as i have induction kit, manifold, and cams to follow.
    would you agree.
    thanks

mate a "chip" is not suited aswell to your car as a remap, a remap is the way to go. try chipwizards.

Kent cams are not any better. They do tend to be more expensive though. I'm in the process of adding Newman Cams to the website at the moment

I think Newmans and Catcam's are certainly the most popular and most frequently mentioned on the forum.

Would be well worth asking KamRacing which one they'd recommend for the VTR

Hi mate I have Newman cams PH3. When I look to by cams I look everywhere. I compare a lot, and I buy Newman Cams. They are all the same, but very important is remaping. Many popular are chipwizards. The difference is in the price, perhaps one or the other has a difference of 2-3bhp not much. But that depends on what phase Cams you want.

this week we'll have them in. To be honest there is not a lot of difference between the catcam and newmans.. both are very good profiles, both get good gains, one is slightly cheaper.
