   Hey looking to buy a new manifold for my mk1 VTR whats the best to go for 4-1 or 4-2-1?

   Models with the cat under the car have a 4-2-1 manifold. The large bore down pipe is actuary split in to two even though its just one pipe. I always found the GMC 4-1 manifold to work best on the 8V. You still get good low down power but for top end I always found it the best off the shelf manifold available. There actually made by BTB and are superb quality to boot.
