Kamracing: Raceland Enclosed Induction+Green Filter......which Green filter?

  1. #1
    HI,

Just wondered if someone could clear this up for me: i noticed that with this Raceland Enclosed Induction you get the choice of which type of Green filter you would like with it!

    http://www.kamracing.co.uk/club-disc...tr-vts-48.html

There are four different options with different shapes and sizes of Green filter:

Which one is going to be best and what are the performance and sound differences between the options?

I have a Mk 2 VTR and am going to have the raceland 4-2-1, supersprint centre and ashley competition 3" backbox fitted alongside this induction kit!
I don't have a clue which one of the filters would be best on this application?????

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Cheers

Best thing to do is ask Kam racing.

The basic one will be absolutely fine

I found £3 worth of loose change on my desk so opted for the largest haha

Kam, What is the difference between them all?

    K2.65 - Conical
    B2.65 - Cylindircal
    K8.65 - Larger Conical
    B8.65 - Larger Cylindrical
    B2.65BC

    B2.65BC - Twin Cone Cylindrical

Wouldn't let me edit the other post for some reason.

size. As they go up in price the filter gets bigger. Makes it more suited for the big power cars.

ah i get ya, makes sense really...

ok thanks Kam! Will a larger filter alter the performance at all on my application?
I was going to opt for the largest conical one! Is this wise?

Realistically you are going to be under 140bhp with a vtr so save the money. The b2.85 will fill the raceland nicely if you want big
  12. #12
    which one is the B2.85?
  13. #13
    meant b2.65 <fail>
