right ive got 3 options, ive recently brought a full fibreglass bonet that has no grill as its completly smoothed but needs a little work done, do i....

get the very litle work done and keep the fibreglass bonet with some lockable aerocatches bonet pins that ive got.

    or...

get my current bonet smoothed with no bonnet pins,

    or...

get my current bonnet smoothed with bonnet pins.

also has anyone got any pics of a mk2 saxo with a completly smoothed bonnet, icelantic silver if poss.

    cheers

Not too keen on full smoothed bonets tbh mate but whatever your decision defo stick with the bonnet pins.

yea i like the aerocatch bonet pins, fibreglassed bonet or not? would save alot of weight i sapose.

also i asume when i do this im going to have to relocate my induction point, was thinking on the bumper in the mouth thing, is this where people usually do it?

bonnet pins that stick out are technically illegal, imagine getting gored by one if you get bonneted.

thats why i have the aerocatch ones that sit flush with the bonnet,

If you have a choice between standard or fibreglass do fibreglass. They are much lighter, so make the car feel quicker, also it is probably cheaper to repair that than get a standard one smoothed.

not so much repair, just need a few pin holes filling and primer sanding down and redoing as ive reapaird a couple of cracks splits and gouges but think ive reached my limit.

ide go for smooth(fiberglass) an bonnet pins.

think thats what im leaning towards and might give it a go to smooth the metal one.

not keen on fully smoothed with no grill, totally ruins the look of any mk2, doesnt it cause overheating problems too? those aerocatches look quite cool aswell cos they dont stick out all tacky

fibreglass ftw, lighter=more speed etc etc
