Having trouble tinting my tail lights

  1. #1
hey guys, got to work tinting my tail lights 2day

Ive put two coat's on atm, and tbh they just look slightly foggy, if you get what i mean, do i need to apply alot more coats to see any significant tinting?
Or is there something wrong with the spray im using? haha.

Im using Savage Car Seats TAIL LIGHT TINTING SPRAY in Black.

Any help and advice would be appreciated!

    Cheers

    Mike

    Maybe laquer might help!

i got some tinting spray from halfords today and it was shit so i got some matt black and did light coats and there quite dark but the lights shows through no problem. dont know if its the right way to do it but it worked a hell of alot better than the tinting spray.

ye i find that with the spray it sometimes looks like a matted look and not shiney. why im a bit scared to do my lights again incase i fuk it up again and you can see the 'orange peel' effect like my last lights

anyone reckon a body shop will tint lights? the proper way by mixing laquer so it turns out all glossy?
